How to Get to

Heaven

One day soon, your body will no longer function. Death is an inevitable part of life and one day you will depart. The question is, where will you go?

God left us with

the answers.

WHAT WE NEED

TO KNOW

We have all sinned

Sin disqualifies us from heaven. No good thing we do can solve this problem. Neither religion, nor good works, nor belief in God, will get us into heaven.        

For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Romans 3:23  

 

The penalty of that sin is death.

Justice will happen. Sin will get its wages. This is hell.

For the wages of sin is death… Romans 6:23

Jesus suffered and died in our place.

Our sin was paid in full by the Son of God. He died in our place.

When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Romans 5:6

Eternal life is a gift.

Salvation is now offered to everyone as a gift.

…but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

You can receive that gift today.

As with all gifts, they must be received. No one goes to heaven without choosing to do so.       

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9  

 

Are you ready? If so, pray this prayer out loud now.

Dear God in heaven, I repent of my sins and turn my life to you. I believe that Jesus died for me on the cross. He took my place. He suffered and died so I could live. I believe He was raised from the dead and is alive today. I receive Him now as my Savior. I confess that Jesus is Lord. I give all my heart and life to you now. I receive your love, forgiveness, and eternal life. According to Your Word, I am now saved. I’ll never be the same.

In Jesus’ name I pray.
